Lico Reyes is a native of Canatlan Durango, Mexico. He was raised in El Paso and the
Arlington/Dallas/Fort Worth, TX.
He started performing as an actor/entertainer at Jesuit College Preparatory High School
(El Paso, TX) as Polonius in “Hamlet” 1964. He did his first print commercial while a Civil
Engineering student at the University of Texas at Arlington for ALCON Laboratories. He
graduated from the Adam Rourke Film Actors Lab and the Arlington Academy of
Performing Arts.
Lico Reyes has been a “quasi” priest comedian at private events (AKA "Father Vito") since
circa 1960 when he came back from the Jesuit Seminary at Grand Chateaux, Louisiana.
He has been a “Tribute Artist” to Father Guido Sarducci since circa 1969. Lico had
performed as a Hispanic Elvis (AKA A-La-Vez) since circa 1996 where he won the 2nd
place at both the Dallas Hard Rock Café and Dick’s Last Resort Elvis competitions.
In 1970 Lico did his 1st DBA as a Portable Party DJ company in Dallas and Tarrant
counties. According to Dunn & Bradstreet, The Underground Shopper on “Positively
Texas,” CBS and the Fort Worth Petroleum Club, he was the first to have a portable DJ
company business in the USA with sound, lights and special effects.
