MIKE TORRES (co-founder and guitarist of EVIL WAZE) is the most phenomenal guitar
artist to have ever graced any stage. Mike has the technical prowess and fluid expression
that even other masters of his trade can appreciate. Also an accomplished songwriter,
Mike wrote the song "Hope" for the 2005 PBS documentary, "La Raza de Colorado".
After many years of forming different bands in Phoenix, MIKE TORRES joined forces with
ROGER ENRICO to form the inexplicably different musical experience of "EVIL WAZE" in
1999. A few of Mike’s more recent credits include performances with: MICHAEL
MCDONALD, AL DIMEOLA, SPYRO GYRA, and the legendary musical group THE
MIRACLES, Ken Strange of the Joe Cocker Band, Ken Stone, Tony Morales, Steve Reed,
and Scott Breadman of The Rippingtons. And last but definitely not least, composer John
Vantongren.
